Kelly Lyons
Kelly Lyons is honored to serve as Principal of North Academy of World Languages, where she is committed to creating a welcoming, joyful, and academically rigorous environment in which every student is known, challenged, supported, and safe. She believes that strong relationships, high expectations, and a shared commitment to excellence create extraordinary opportunities for students, staff, and families.
Mrs. Lyons holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Education from North Carolina State University and a Master of School Administration from UNC Charlotte, where she earned licensure in both School Administration and Curriculum & Instruction. She has a deep belief in the power of language to connect people, broaden perspectives, and open doors to new opportunities. She is excited to partner with the NAWL community to cultivate a school where curiosity, global understanding, and academic excellence inspire lifelong learning.
Outside of school, Mrs. Lyons enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and puppy, Bingo. She loves traveling, walking, reading, and making memories with family and friends. She is grateful to be part of the NAWL community and looks forward to partnering with students and families to ensure every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to reach their fullest potential.
